Pricing Integrity

Pricing integrity is the condition in which a brand's products are consistently represented at their intended price levels across all public channels. It is both a business objective and a measurable state. A brand either has pricing integrity or it does not — and the difference is visible in real-time marketplace data.

Pricing integrity depends on three conditions: a clearly defined MAP policy, an authorized distribution structure that limits who can sell, and active enforcement of both. When any condition is absent, pricing integrity degrades — typically beginning with a single low-price listing that triggers competitive repricing across all channels.
