What is MAP enforcement software?

It gives brand teams a repeatable way to move from price detection to documented action, so a violation doesn’t sit unresolved while it spreads to other sellers.

MAP enforcement software detects advertised prices below a brand’s Minimum Advertised Price policy, verifies each potential violation, documents the evidence, and manages seller outreach and escalation.

Brand Alignment combines continuous monitoring and structured enforcement across Amazon, Walmart, and more than 200 marketplaces.

Enforce Your MAP Policy Without The Manual Work

Manually screenshotting listings and emailing sellers doesn’t scale past a handful of SKUs or marketplaces. Every stage below has a clear purpose, so your team can see what happened and what comes next.

01

Monitor

Find every potential MAP violation.

Continuously identify advertised prices that fall below your MAP policy across selected marketplaces.

02

Verify

Confirm it before taking action.

Each violation is validated with pricing data and timestamped screenshots.

03

Enforce

Turn verified violations into action.

Send structured notifications: an initial notice, a final notice, then escalation if the seller remains non-compliant.

04

Maintain

Keep sellers compliant.

Continue monitoring resolved sellers, document repeat behavior, and support long-term compliance.

Evidence Your Team Can Inspect And Act On

Prioritized review, documented proof, and marketplace-specific workflows give your team a consistent way to handle violations at scale.

Detect pricing violations across marketplaces as soon as they appear.

Surface the violations that need attention first.

Preserve screenshots, prices, sellers, and dates.

Identify repeat behavior across monitoring cycles.

Match outreach and escalation to your program.

Keep a clear record of each enforcement action.

Violation Record

Proof before outreach.

Each potential violation becomes a reviewable record instead of an unverified automated alert. Example shown below is illustrative, not a live customer record.

We Do More Than Send An Alert

Brand Alignment connects detection, verification, outreach, and follow-up in one program. Your team can run the workflow directly or use a managed option.

Nothing goes out on automation alone

Every flag is scraped, checked, screenshotted, and checked again before a seller is contacted.

Structured follow-through

An initial notice, a final notice, and escalation for sellers who don't respond, on schedule regardless of engagement.

Self-service or managed

Use the platform with your own team, or have the Managed MAP Enforcement Program handle outreach and follow-up.

Connected brand protection

Address MAP compliance and investigate related unauthorized-seller issues with one provider.

reduction in MAP issues among authorized sellers within 30 days

BioLab needed a consistent way to address MAP issues.

Brand Alignment combined active monitoring with structured enforcement to identify violations, contact sellers, and measure how authorized seller behavior changed.

biolab-case-study-graph

BioLab’s program focused on MAP issues among identified authorized sellers and measured the change during the first 30 days.

Our MAP enforcement solution combines highly automated email alerts with a back-end quality control system. Clients want a managed system, but every alert still needs to be checked before it goes out.

We scrape the listing, check the price, capture a screenshot, and review that screenshot. Only after the potential violation passes those checks is an alert sent. There is no automation without checks and no automation without quality control.

Effective daily enforcement also depends on responding to inquiries. If a customer identifies a valid exception, such as a new Amazon discount or an incorrect flag, we remove it from the record. We then correct the back-end system so the same type of false flag is less likely to appear in the future.

How Brand Alignment Prevents False MAP Alerts

Brand Alignment’s COO explains how automated detection works with manual quality control before any enforcement alert is sent.

How do you avoid false positives?

Potential violations are reviewed by a human analyst and supported by timestamped evidence before enforcement action is initiated.

The workflow can move through documented follow-up and graduated escalation based on the brand’s approved MAP policy and distribution program.

Documentation includes timestamped screenshots, pricing data, and a full action history for every violation.

Yes. Notification timing, templates, review requirements, and escalation steps can be configured around the brand’s approved policy and internal process.

Brand Alignment monitors Amazon, Walmart, and more than 200 online marketplaces. Available data and enforcement options vary by marketplace.

No. MAP enforcement addresses advertised price compliance. Unauthorized seller enforcement investigates and addresses sellers that are not permitted to sell the brand’s products. The two problems can overlap, so Brand Alignment can support both programs.
